Hi, I’m Junren Chen, an Economics student at UVic with a passion for photojournalism and videography. While economics helps me analyze how the world works, my camera allows me to capture the human stories behind the data. I joined JOUR 2061 to improve my skills as a visual storyteller and learn how to combine powerful images with dynamic multimedia elements.

I enjoy hiking in nature, strolling through the streets with my camera, or listening to music. Besides taking photos of people and architecture, I also independently shoot and edit videos to express my feelings about life. Below are some of my original video works; please enjoy.
